Storytelling

Eka - The Little Sumatran Rhino blurs the lines between a traditional children’s book and an animated film. Each of its forty six pages is richly and painstakingly illustrated, with each element of the jungle created separately and layered into luscious and immersive cinematic scenes. All images are accompanied by professionally recorded narration and dialogue, which is mirrored in text bubbles for reading. The making of Eka is a journey of passion and dedication through many iterations before being completed. But the one thing that never changed and only became stronger as we kept working on Eka was the initial aim to bring awareness to children and parents about endangered species.

The Soundtrack
Eka's rich soundtrack is created with multiple audio layers consisting of authentic Indonesian jungle and animal sounds, our own sound effects/folley recordings, and professional voices for the characters and the narration.
